GPP #08: Amanda Buhse on Transforming a Hobby into an International Red Carpet Business

Amanda_Buhse.jpg

Today I’m talking to Amanda Buhse. She’s the co-owner of Coal and Canary Candle Company, an international company that started around a kitchen table and some wine only three years ago. Since then, her company has rapidly grown to an international success with products sold in 250 retail locations in three countries and their candles have appeared in the celebrity gift bags at the Academy Awards, the Grammys and the Golden Globes.

And guess what! If you love Coal and Canary candles as much as I do or you’ve never tried their candles and after listening to this episode you’re like “I gotta get my hands on one!” Amanda is sending one lucky duck a free candle of their choice. To enter this giveaway, head on over to my Instagram account @_ashleywood, look for the photo of me holding a Coal and Canary candle and comment on it by telling me your favourite season and why. This giveaway is open to all of my friends in Canada and the United States and I’ll tag one winner this Wednesday.

I hope this episode leaves you feeling inspired, positive and passionate about following your dreams!
